Key Responsibilities

•Architect, develop, and implement scalable security systems, protocols, and automation to safeguard Socure’s applications, infrastructure, and sensitive data.
•Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments, proactively identify areas of risk, and drive remediation efforts.
•Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
•Monitor security events, analyze security alerts, and lead incident response activities, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
•Ensure Socure’s solutions comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, PCI DSS) and security industry standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
•5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or security engineering, ideally within a high-scale, cloud-based, or fintech/SaaS environment.
•Deep expertise designing and implementing security controls across cloud and on-prem infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
•Strong experience with application security, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
•Hands-on proficiency in security automation, network and data protection, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and encryption.
