Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and scale the Merchant Finance & Strategy team through coaching, prioritisation, and talent development.
  • •Partner on major contract negotiations, applying deep P&L expertise across standard and bespoke deal structures.
  • •Design, standardise, and scale pricing frameworks and negotiation tools across markets and segments.
  • •Lead integration of Merchant financials into DoorDash metrics, systems, and governance to improve consistency and performance management.
  • •Own planning, forecasting, and reporting for Merchant-driven P&L lines and embed AI/automation into core finance workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification is a plus.
  • •Significant proven experience in a high-growth startup or other relevant fast-paced environment.
  • •Strong ability to use big data to solve complex problems and drive commercial decision-making.
  • •Highly proficient in building robust spreadsheet-based financial models to forecast and analyse performance.
  • •Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including non-finance leaders, at a strategic level.
