Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, mix, and cook sauces according to approved recipes and formulas in a timely manner.
  • •Complete required documentation (e.g., HACCP, SSOP, Usage) in English and ensure audits/tests are completed per policy.
  • •Inspect the work environment and equipment prior to startup, notifying QA/Supervisor/Maintenance of defects and adjusting equipment as needed.
  • •Verify ingredients and safely transfer them to the kitchen using PIT; review requisition and batch sheets to confirm items and quantities.
  • •Ensure 5S standards and proper changeover (return ingredients, dispose of trash, clean and sanitize equipment) and take sauce samples per policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English.
  • •Knowledge of GMP’s and food allergens, including familiarity with HACCP and Critical Control Points (CCP).
  • •Ability to be HACCP Certified, PIT Certified, and LOTO Certified.
  • •Intermediate math skills and ability to read a thermometer; ability to operate computer systems (including email).
  • •High school diploma or GED preferred; 3 months production or related experience preferred.
