Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of the observability platform across AWS GovCloud and Oracle OCI.
  • •Build Terraform modules/providers and use GitLab CI/CD to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration across dev and production.
  • •Operate and improve production Kubernetes workloads, leading incident response, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes to reduce outage risk.
  • •Create reusable frameworks, runbooks, and operational standards to improve observability onboarding, alerting coverage, and operational readiness.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams to define and track SLOs/SLIs and eliminate toil through automation and infrastructure design.

Key Requirements

  • •4–5+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering in a live production environment.
  • •Production-grade Kubernetes experience, including workload operations, troubleshooting, and cluster-level architectural design at scale.
  • •Author Terraform modules and providers from scratch and automate infrastructure provisioning/configuration management.
  • •Proven on-call/incident experience, including structured triage, resolution, and post-incident review with documented root cause analysis.
  • •Scripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and operational tooling; clear technical writing (runbooks and incident reports).
