Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute resolution strategies for large, highly complex Commercial Real Estate problem loans, including restructurings, forbearances, note sales, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and asset dispositions.

•Manage bilateral and syndicated credits by negotiating and coordinating workout strategies with participant lenders, borrowers, and key stakeholders; lead lender group negotiations when applicable.
•Evaluate borrower, sponsor, guarantor, collateral, and market conditions to identify recovery opportunities and formulate loss mitigation strategies.
•Present complex credits, risk assessments, and recommended action plans to senior management; consult internally to identify deteriorating loan situations and mentor junior workout professionals.

Key Requirements

•Ten to fifteen years of experience in commercial lending and loan services activities.
•Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Master degree preferred.
•Commercial Real Estate loan expertise (C&I loan expertise preferred).
•Prior experience with large, syndicated credits and experience serving as the Agent of syndicated credits.
•Expert knowledge of specialized lending collections, including managing litigation; advanced knowledge of loan collections/workout, loan processing/documentation, and credit analysis.
