Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, repair, refurbish, overhaul, and install electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment, components, and test fixtures.
  • •Support preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems, including basic troubleshooting and fault isolation of electronic/electro-mechanical systems.
  • •Perform equipment performance analyses and collect/record engineering data; extract, compile, and present systems/logistics support information.
  • •Complete adjustment, testing, and certification processes and ensure work is performed and documented per FAA/FAALC standards and technical instructions.
  • •Carry out tower/radome-related installation and maintenance tasks at heights (including corrosion control and work from ropes) and enter time into DCRS daily for billing.

  • •Minimum High School Diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses.
  • •Ability to obtain NACI clearance / Public Trust.
  • •Estimated monthly travel of 70% for this position.
  • •Valid driver's license required.
  • •Must complete required physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions of 125–290 lbs.
