Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and configure network topologies based on customer requirements and use cases.
  • •Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 features including VLANs, LACP, STP/RSTP, PVST, and MSTP.
  • •Implement redundancy and multicast optimization using MLAG/vPC and IGMP Snooping.
  • •Configure and maintain Layer 3 routing and multicast protocols including VRRP, OSPF, BGP, IGMP, and PIM-SM.
  • •Provide network management and documentation using SNMP/CLI/UI and create detailed network diagrams, engaging with customers to validate use cases.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with multicast protocols and IP services.
  • •Experience across multiple vendor switches (Cisco, Netgear, Juniper, etc.).
  • •Proficiency using CLI, SNMP, and UI-based configuration, with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • •Good understanding of PTP and AVB protocols, and ability to design and implement complex network topologies.
