Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, coach, and develop Engineering Managers and Team Leads; set and hold a high performance bar and leveling approach.
  • •Own org design and the headcount plan for the group, shaping teams as the product and company grow.
  • •Be accountable for outcomes across several teams, driving operating rhythm (planning, prioritization, reporting) and unblocking cross-team dependencies.
  • •Ensure robust monitoring, observability, and incident response across your area.
  • •Partner with the CTO and Product leadership to define and execute the technical roadmap, making architecture and technical investment trade-offs.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership.
  • •2+ years managing managers, including hiring, coaching, and performance-managing Engineering Managers or Team Leads.
  • •Experience leading 25–50 engineers across multiple teams and owning org design.
  • •Strong technical background in distributed systems and cloud architecture (preferably AWS).
  • •Track record delivering complex, multi-team programs during rapid growth and translating enterprise customer needs into solutions.
