Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely at all times and promote the company’s safety culture by adhering to safety requirements and wearing assigned PPE correctly.
  • •Adhere to and model company policies and procedures with a consistent standard of compliance and professionalism.
  • •Safely remove Freon, automotive fluids, batteries, excess garbage, and other materials in accordance with prescribed procedures.
  • •Position vehicles on wheel stands for customer access, dismantle engines/transmissions and harvest cores/materials, and operate the tire machine to sort tires for shipment.
  • •Assist customers in a courteous manner, prepare pallets/Gaylord boxes for shipment, complete regulatory and tracking logs, maintain stormwater control devices, and report/address safety hazards.

  • •Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including basic safety and hazard communication related to automotive fluids and flammable materials.
  • •Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • •Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch regularly, and to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
