Job Summary

Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished pallets throughout the pallet manufacturing facility. Help keep production running by transporting goods between stations, moving finished products to inventory areas or the warehouse, and assisting with material needs and bottlenecks. Perform general preventive maintenance, complete pre-shift equipment checklists, maintain organized and clean inventory yards, complete production records, and follow safety and continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and finished pallets throughout the facility.
•Move material in process between stations as needed.
•Band, wrap, pack finished goods, and label material; move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
•Assist production with bottlenecks and other material needs.
•Perform general preventive maintenance, complete pre-shift equipment checklists, maintain organized inventory yards, and complete production records while following forklift rules and safety/CI programs.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 9th grade basic education; high school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
•Forklift driving experience preferred (no minimum experience required).
•Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
•Successfully complete the Forklift Driver licensing process.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
