Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and observing safety regulations.
  • •Manoeuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading and unload empty skids, using specialized equipment when warranted.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine service checks and report malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Ability to perform physical requirements, including prolonged sitting and lifting/moving up to 40 pounds, and frequent travel.
