Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, configure, operate, and maintain automation, control, and SCADA systems for Starbase infrastructure and utility systems.
  • •Deploy and troubleshoot standardized automation for critical power and utility systems, including upgrades to scale for production targets.
  • •Configure and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications; maintain organized documentation for Starbase SCADA systems.
  • •Update, redline, and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic schematics; assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels to applicable safety and electrical standards.
  • •Support ground-up automation projects (commissioning, testing, hand-off, training), audit processes for inefficiencies and safety improvements, and mentor junior technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •1+ years of hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation and controls systems.
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line drawings, DC/AC schematics, and bills of materials.
  • •Experience configuring and commissioning PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications in a production/launch environment.
  • •Experience implementing control logic (e.g., ladder logic) and basic network configurations.
