Job Summary

Support the residential solar installation pipeline by performing pre-install site assessments and post-install inspections. You’ll follow dynamic daily schedules across job sites, collect measurements and photos, evaluate roof/electrical conditions, and use mobile tools to submit accurate survey data. After installations, you’ll confirm readiness for final AHJ/utility approval, document findings, collaborate with install teams and project managers, and represent the company with customer-facing professionalism.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
•Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels using standardized tools and protocols, including ladder and attic inspections.
•Submit accurate survey data using mobile field tools and maintain documentation for inspection readiness.
•Perform post-install inspection visits to confirm installations match approved plans and meet workmanship, code, and safety standards.
•Schedule and coordinate inspections with the AHJ and customers, and collaborate with install teams and project managers to resolve issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.99 - 31.99

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience is helpful, with at least one year of field construction experience preferred.
•Comfortable working on roofs, using ladders, and in tight or elevated spaces (including attics/confined spaces).
•Familiarity with basic hand tools, measuring devices, and mobile technology; ability to follow standardized procedures with excellent attention to detail.
•OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record.
