Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Belgian Compliance team and support the evolution of the integrated Benelux Compliance model, serving as trusted counterpart on local compliance matters.
  • •Support the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer Benelux and advise senior management on strategic implications of regulatory developments.
  • •Develop, implement and maintain local compliance policies, standards and procedures aligned with Allianz Group requirements.
  • •Oversee compliance risk assessments, monitoring, management reporting, and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • •Manage whistleblowing cases and internal investigations, and coach, develop and inspire the Belgian Compliance team.

Key Requirements

  • •Seasoned compliance experience, preferably in the insurance sector or a highly regulated environment.
  • •Master’s degree in Law.
  • •Certification as a Compliance Officer (asset).
  • •Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and non-financial risk management, plus excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • •Fluency in Dutch, French and English, with strong project management and continuous improvement mindset.
