Key Responsibilities

•Partner with account teams as the key technical advisor and product advocate throughout the sales cycle.
•Understand customer AI/data architecture and identify where Alation fits and adds value.
•Lead discovery sessions to surface business and governance challenges.
•Own technical scope of proof-of-value engagements, pilots, and adoption workshops to drive clear outcomes.
•Deliver tailored product demonstrations and translate AI/platform architecture concepts into actionable terms for enterprise stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 136,312 - 184,021 annually

Key Requirements

•6–8 years in technical delivery, solutions consulting, or forward-deployed customer-facing roles at data/AI platform companies.
•Strong technical credibility in AI technologies, architecture, and the data ecosystem (LLMs, agent patterns, data platforms).
•Working knowledge of enterprise data and cloud platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
•Preferred: prior exposure to data or AI governance concepts and the ability to translate them into customer value conversations.
•Proven experience engaging enterprise stakeholders and communicating value to both practitioners and business leaders (pre- or post-sale).
