  • •Work from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.
  • •Lay out and mark points on parts or subassemblies using rule, square, scribe, or templates.
  • •Use measuring instruments and hand tools to position pieces into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps.
  • •Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and perform all work according to established safety procedures.
