Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer macOS, Windows 10/11, and Windows Server environments, plus manage Azure AD/Entra ID (including Conditional Access and Domain Services) and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) with Intune endpoint management.
  • •Support and troubleshoot hybrid networking (VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and collaborate to maintain HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST compliance; implement and monitor EDR/XDR and automate alerting/response.
  • •Build automated monitoring pipelines to detect anomalies early, and develop self-healing runbooks and AI-assisted incident response workflows; document changes in a centralized, version-controlled knowledge base.
  • •Design and deploy AI-powered automation workflows (ticket triage, access provisioning, patch scheduling, system health alerting) and implement MCP-based integrations for AI agents and internal tools.
  • •Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure issues and participate in disaster recovery/business continuity planning with automated failover and recovery.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in systems engineering or systems administration with ownership of complex hybrid cloud environments.
  • •Hands-on experience implementing AI/LLM-powered workflows in an IT operations context (prompt engineering, API integration, or agent orchestration).
  • •Working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP), including MCP server structure and exposing IT capabilities via MCP endpoints.
  • •API fluency building and maintaining REST API integrations using Python, PowerShell, or equivalent, with version control and documentation.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure cloud services, and endpoint management (Intune), plus networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, firewalls) in a regulated (HIPAA/HITRUST/NIST) environment.
