Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide loyalty-inspiring customer service by resolving complex technical and engineering issues reported by customers and tracking work in a CRM system.
  • •Escalate and drive customer issue resolution cross-functionally within AspenTech.
  • •Deliver intermediate/advanced training classes and develop/maintain customer-focused training materials for new releases and applications.
  • •Conduct pre-sales consultations to identify prospects’ business problems and articulate AspenTech APC solutions, uncovering and analyzing client needs.
  • •Function as a subject matter expert in pre-release software testing and coach/mentor fellow team members; may also perform account health checks and onsite support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in process control/industrial technology, including closed-loop control concepts (DCS, PID, computer-based control).
  • •Hands-on experience supporting advanced control systems in real-world plant/manufacturing/industrial environments, including Aspen DMC3 and Aspen GDOT.
  • •Experience with APC/DCS interface design, implementation, and application architecture (controller interface databases/configurations).
  • •Knowledge of industrial systems including industrial communication protocols (OPC DA / OPC UA), plus data collection and analysis.
