Job Summary

Build and maintain end-to-end software for Avigilon Unity Video Products used by security professionals. Partner within a Scrum team to deliver large-scale, public-facing applications and APIs, while defining build pipelines, containerization, DevOps tooling, and test automation. Provide hands-on technical leadership through design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support, and support team growth with mentorship and strong software quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a key contributor in a Scrum team, delivering high-performance development and participating in continuous improvement.
•Develop Avigilon Unity Video Products used by security professionals and contribute to intelligent camera surveillance systems.
•Define and execute build pipeline direction, containerization, DevOps tooling, and test automation.
•Deliver end-to-end solutions spanning design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship while upholding software development and quality standards across the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 120,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
•5+ years of software development experience as a Software Engineer.
•Extensive experience in C++.
•Experience working in a large code base.
•Experience working with databases (Berkeley, Postgres) and excellent written and oral communication skills.
