Job Summary

Founding Partnership Lead responsible for building Terminal’s ecosystem partnerships from the ground up, shaping the partner motion, and delivering product-led integrations with telematics data providers, OEMs, and enrichment data partners. You’ll own end-to-end deals, define ICPs, codify repeatable playbooks, and scale the function while collaborating across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Commercial teams. Toronto-based with travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Build the partner supply pipeline and close strategic partnerships end-to-end, from discovery to signed agreements and launch plans.
•Drive product-led integrations and partner activation, ensuring smooth onboarding and production-grade integrations with API, webhooks, or file exports.
•Create partner-facing materials and establish internal deal review cadences to scale partnership programs.
•Codify a repeatable partner operating model, onboarding checklists, and reporting to measure time-to-live, activation, and expansion.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, and Commercial teams to translate partner needs into the Terminal roadmap and drive measurable outcomes.

Key Requirements

•5-7 years in ecosystem partnerships, platform partnerships, API/data partnerships, or BD in a technical product environment.
•Proven ability to close and operationalize partnerships (not just relationship management).
•Strong technical fluency: APIs/webhooks/file exports, data schemas, normalization/versioning, provenance/attribution, permissioning/consent concepts, and production reliability.
•Excellent cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Legal, and Commercial teams; ability to translate ambiguity into execution.
•High ownership, bias to action, and a results-driven approach with measurable outcomes.
