Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee derivative operational activities end-to-end, resolving outstanding issues.
  • •Ensure derivative trades are correctly captured in internal systems by providing SME input on derivative data.
  • •Perform live-cycle middle-office controls for direct derivatives and public market fixed income trading (confirmations, income, and trade flow issue resolution).
  • •Work with third-party providers to onboard new system capability and support internal processes and instrument onboarding.
  • •Develop and maintain risk/control processes and procedures, support regulatory requirements, and help integrate new business lines from closed/open book acquisitions and BPA activity.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing derivatives and fixed income products from a middle/back-office perspective, including pre-trade governance and trade capture.
  • •Knowledge of trading activity and operational processes such as trade enrichment/validation, confirms, transaction reporting, and settlement/reconciliations.
  • •Understanding of regulatory considerations including EMIR and TCF, plus derivative documentation such as ISDA/CSA and central clearing agreements.
  • •Practical experience with end-to-end investment management technology/operating models and downstream value-chain consumers.
  • •Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience using the Aladdin platform, with strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
