Job Summary

Provide on-site HVAC service and maintenance as the primary customer contact in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments, coordinating installation and repairs with team leaders and customers. Use air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and tools/software to diagnose issues and ensure customer satisfaction, while enforcing safety standards and supporting weekend/overtime needs as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand installation/repair requirements and forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
•Use cutting-edge software/technology and a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets, recording asset use and condition.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with a hand-held computer (smartphone/iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations, including DUI, hit & run, or reckless/careless driving in the past 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to follow blueprints/engineering specifications and use hand tools to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
