Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, integrate, test, and optimize communications hardware across platforms and systems.
  • •Configure, simulate, evaluate, and test RF systems and datalinks.
  • •Develop RF link budgets, co-site analysis, and desense reports, and create RF system interconnect diagrams.
  • •Select and manage radio, RF component, cable, and antenna vendors, and support cross-functional engineering with RF system tradeoffs.
  • •Represent communications subsystems in vehicle-level cross-disciplinary trade-off studies and support field troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • •7+ years of hands-on industry experience designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting RF systems.
  • •Ability to collaborate with teams to define product requirements, perform trade analysis, develop specifications, and run system-level tests.
  • •Experience using RF test equipment to design, build, and troubleshoot RF systems.
  • •Knowledge of aviation and tactical communications systems (radio, antennas, and similar) and fundamentals of Ethernet/networking.
