Job Summary

Lead field safety execution for large-scale electric utility construction projects, coordinating safety across multiple sites and with NV Energy, contractors, and agencies. Develop and maintain safety plans, drive risk mitigation, and deliver executive-level updates. Build a culture of safety, oversee audits and incident investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance across Nevada field operations and field offices.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the field execution of safety management scope for large, complex electrical infrastructure projects across multiple field offices.
•Coordinate safety across technical and operational aspects to align with contract scope and regulatory standards.
•Serve as field safety liaison between NV Energy, contractors, consultants, and agency representatives.
•Develop, maintain, and execute project safety management plans and site-specific safety plans.
•Participate in executive briefings and progress reporting to clients and management.

Salary: USD 115,100 - 205,040 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in safety management or closely related discipline, or demonstrated proven equivalent experience.
•OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent health and safety training.
•10+ years of relevant overall experience as a safety manager of large complex electrical infrastructure projects.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage subordinate safety managers and coordinate work activities amongst stakeholders.
•Proven history of managing multi-site safety programs.
