Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build security infrastructure for Starship, including authentication/encryption protocols, identity management/automation, secure boot and code hardening, and hardware security module usage
  • •Develop backend services and automation powering network security systems and ensure secure software development practices across the mission
  • •Own all aspects of software development from design to testing and integration to meet mission objectives
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure security considerations are integrated into launch and vehicle software
  • •Define and lead impactful security projects to enable SpaceX’s Starship mission

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline or 4+ years of professional software development experience

  • •Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
