Key Responsibilities

  • •Record test results, file QC records, and quarantine non-conforming material while notifying Production Supervision.
  • •Organize daily MRB meetings and manage documentation for sample retain and retain storage.
  • •Audit job data, release product from quality inspection, and file Hold Tickets and Specification Deviation Requests as applicable.
  • •Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with implementing and maintaining quality procedures and adequate quality records, including documentation review at shift huddles.
  • •Support process capability and control studies (SPC), maintain measurement device calibration, perform calibrations, and assist with Gage R&R studies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency is required.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a quality technician is required.
  • •1–2 years of experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
  • •Knowledge of quality assurance principles and methods.
  • •Must be able to use handheld measuring devices and perform required physical activities (including lifting up to 50 lbs).
