Job Summary

Lead Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) cabin upgrade projects, owning cabin architecture and engineering deliverables from inception through delivery. Partner with Sales during feasibility and scope definition, drive pre-mod analysis, configuration control, and creation of TRS/LLTI documentation, and supervise 3D/2D studies, model integration, clash analysis, and cabin definition/installation drawings. Serve as primary technical focal point for suppliers, ensure compliance with Airbus standards and aviation regulations, and provide in-service support after delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive all engineering activities for a cabin modification project from inception to delivery, managing schedule, cost, and risk.
•Partner with Sales to assess technical feasibility, define scope, set engineering assumptions, and estimate lead times and costs.
•Lead pre-mod analysis, manage configuration control, determine aircraft impacts, and draft TRS and LLTI lists.
•Supervise 3D/2D pre-studies, 3D model integration, clash analysis, and production of cabin definition/installation drawings; support W&B calculations, SB redacts, and test plans.
•Act as primary technical focal point for suppliers during key milestones (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FPDR, FAI) and provide in-service support for post-delivery technical queries.

Key Requirements

•Lead end-to-end aircraft cabin modification projects through delivery, including schedule, cost, and risk monitoring.
•9+ years of aviation experience focused on aircraft cabin engineering, development processes, and design/certification paths.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautic, Civil, or Electrical).
•Hands-on experience with CATIA V5, plus expertise in aircraft modifications, cabin equipment integration, and configuration management.
•Knowledge of EASA Part 21 (DOA/POA), Part 145, and CS25 regulations, and familiarity with Airbus tools and mechanical systems ATA21/35/38/92 installation topics.
