Key Responsibilities

•Manage and support a team of product engineers focused on building and expanding Figma’s developer offerings, including Dev Mode, MCP, Code Connect, and more
•Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate work across product, design, engineering, and other functions
•Define strategy & roadmap for your team and execute on that roadmap with a high degree of autonomy, velocity, and craftsmanship
•Provide hands-on technical leadership to your teams and others that collaborate with your teams to ensure a cohesive product experience and the right technical abstractions
•Recruit, mentor, and retain high performing engineers (and help with other cross functional roles). You’ll foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and taking calculated risks

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience managing software engineers working on products used by external users
•A proven track record of building AI-powered products (both as a manager and individual contributor) that are best in class in user experience
•Demonstrated ability to tie product and engineering work to clear business impact
•Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team; including mentoring, and growing senior engineers
•Strong ability to build and operate fast-moving teams that balance innovation with execution
