Job Summary

Lead rail systems engineering and safety assurance work within the Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance team. Develop system engineering plans, system definitions, technical requirements, and system architectures across the infrastructure lifecycle. Manage technical requirements using tools such as DOORS and ComplyPro, evaluate system requirements/design interrelationships, and serve as senior technical resource for scope and work packages. Contribute to studies and design procedures, collaborate on multidisciplinary reviews, and support budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop system engineering plans, processes, system definitions, technical requirements, and system architectures.
•Manage technical requirements using appropriate techniques and tools (e.g., DOORS, ComplyPro) and deliver systems engineering processes to support customer requirements.
•Evaluate interrelationships of system requirements and system design/development requirements; develop scope of works and work packages and act as senior technical resource for team/project.
•Provide specialized technical input to studies and design within the area of expertise; develop study and design procedures to enable high-quality, cost-effective work.
•Participate in multidisciplinary review of project deliverables; prepare technical specification sections; perform quality control reviews and support engineering budget and schedule inputs.
