Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate mission assurance efforts, including risk management, discrepancy resolution, and design review, as the Program Mission Assurance Engineer for one or more programs.
  • •Ensure implementation of corrective actions and lessons learned in the current operations environment.
  • •Translate complex engineering and operational challenges into clear, actionable requirements and lessons learned for upcoming programs.
  • •Review operational architecture strategy for both space and ground segments (command and control, mission planning, mission data processing, and supporting infrastructure) in the context of mission risks.
  • •Coordinate with integration, testing, and mission operation crews to review, generate, and implement training prior to critical mission events, and participate in mission operations and anomaly resolution efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work).
  • •5+ years experience with at least 3+ years related to real-time satellite or launch vehicle command and control.
  • •Working knowledge of satellite subsystems, ground systems, space missions, and/or OPSCON design.
  • •Experience delivering operational products to customer environments.
  • •Willingness to support occasional off-nominal working hours during critical 24/7 mission operations activities.
