Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and telecom systems design per project specifications, design codes, and standards.
  • •Prepare accurate design calculations, analyses, and reports/procedures, and raise technical queries for missing or unclear information.
  • •When acting as Lead Engineer, direct a telecom engineering team and manage discipline execution (scope, deliverables, schedule, resources) to MDR and project procedures.
  • •Coordinate interfaces and stakeholders across disciplines and departments to develop clash-free designs and ensure deliverables and progress are tracked.
  • •Support bid/proposal work and provide engineering support through construction, commissioning, audits, and technical quality reviews as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (Master’s Degree is preferred).
  • •15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants predominantly performing detail design.
  • •Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, and applicable standards, codes, and guidelines.
  • •Knowledge of project coordination and execution skills.
  • •Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society (plus knowledge of Functional Safety, e.g., IEC 61508/IEC 61511).
