Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, lay out, and perform installation, repair, and maintenance of complete electrical and high-frequency equipment and wiring.
  • •Tear down and diagnose equipment troubles to avoid or minimize shutdowns.
  • •Install and wire motors, starters, and controls; establish and install primary and secondary distribution centers and balance loads.
  • •Prepare and update wiring diagrams and drawings; assist in or build prototype or experimental machinery by preparing prints and assembling equipment.
  • •Perform additional maintenance functions (including plumbing, carpentry, painting, moving, and installing equipment/furniture), maintain HVAC/boilers, and direct helpers for emergency response duties when required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 39.86 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Rhode Island Electrician Journeyman’s or Masters License.
  • •Current and valid Driver’s License.
  • •Must possess or obtain an OSHA Forklift License within 3 months of hire date.
  • •Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR; Eaton will not support employment immigration sponsorship for this position.
