Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design end-to-end mapping experiences using iterative design methods.
  • •Coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements and specifications for new and established Map Viewer features.
  • •Create personas, user journeys, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
  • •Conduct user research (usability testing, surveys, customer interviews) to identify enhancements and validate prototypes and finished products.
  • •Collaborate with SDK and engineering partners, run peer reviews, and communicate design rationale and accessibility/quality feedback to implementation teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of product design experience for enterprise SaaS or web-based applications.
  • •Experience with Figma and Figma UI Kits, including working within established pattern libraries and required frameworks.
  • •Knowledge or experience with localization/internationalization.
  • •Accessibility experience with WCAG 2.0 and/or Section 508 compliance and a strong track record collaborating with developers on accessibility fixes.
  • •A bachelor’s degree in human factors, HCI, graphic design, or a related field, plus an online portfolio demonstrating shipped design work.
