Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using real-time equipment data.
  • •Perform safe preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, handling the necessary repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment in the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians as needed.
  • •Maintain complete, timely daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and show advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Have experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Be able to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Demonstrate superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred; be able to obtain it within 6–12 months if you don’t already have it.
