Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead performance engineering initiatives across software applications and services with a hands-on approach.
  • •Identify performance risks early in the software development lifecycle and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • •Establish performance engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices to drive performance-by-design across teams.
  • •Build realistic workload models and develop reusable Gatling test frameworks, libraries, and performance automation.
  • •Partner with development, architecture, DevOps, and Product teams to define performance objectives/SLAs/targets and deliver scalable, reliable applications.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •7+ years of experience building performance automation frameworks and reusable testing utilities.
  • •Strong hands-on performance testing experience with Gatling and JavaScript/Node.js and/or TypeScript.
  • •Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry.
  • •Experience analyzing application behavior under load to identify performance bottlenecks and define performance objectives, SLAs, and capacity requirements.
