Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and support enterprise Windows Server environments across physical and virtual platforms, including Windows clustering.
  • •Manage VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms, including HA/DRS, virtual networking, VM lifecycle management, and complex OS/network/storage troubleshooting.
  • •Lead patching and vulnerability remediation for Windows servers, virtualization hosts, firmware, and infrastructure components in coordination with security teams and MSPs.
  • •Plan and execute firmware upgrades and provide technical leadership for major incidents, high-severity outages, restoration, recovery, and on-call support.
  • •Develop automation and strengthen AIOps monitoring, govern MSP performance, and manage problem management/root-cause analysis, documentation, capacity planning, and service health.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 12-15 years of work experience in related infrastructure/operations roles, with strong technical ownership.
  • •Expert knowledge of Windows Server administration, troubleshooting, hardening, performance analysis, and lifecycle management.
  • •Strong knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V (Failover Clustering, CSV, Live Migration) and VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion).
  • •Hands-on capability with patch management, vulnerability remediation, and firmware lifecycle management with compliance.
  • •Working knowledge of ITIL incident/major incident, change, problem, and configuration management processes.
