Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping, assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with rigorous quality management procedures.
  • •Use project management skills to manage resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • •Collaborate in integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints and develop impact avoidance, mitigation, and benefits opportunities.
  • •Manage client relationships and internal supply teams, and promote environmental services to support business development and fee/proposal development.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods, planning legislation, and relevant consenting/licensing regimes, with experience across consenting regimes (e.g., DCO, TWAO) as a bonus.
  • •Deliver consultancy services with strong project management, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Confidently engage stakeholders with excellent verbal, report writing, and technical review skills.
  • •Have a relevant environmental degree (preferably at Masters level) and appropriate professional membership; chartered status and mentoring/line management interest are advantageous.
