Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and ensure the timely, accurate completion of fiduciary income tax returns and associated work-papers/audit trails for complex accounts.
  • •Serve as a technical subject-matter expert for Trust Officers, Trust Specialists, and Wealth Management Advisors on tax and planning implications.
  • •Review and analyze transactions in assigned accounts for tax consequences; monitor and communicate estimated tax liabilities and projections as required.
  • •Research federal, state, and local tax law issues and present internal departmental training on relevant tax topics.
  • •Assist in the return review process and mentor/train less experienced staff when needed, including participating in escalation and special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • •Minimum 7–10 years of experience in tax or prior public or industry accounting.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of accounting and tax subject matters with an ability to apply fiduciary accounting and taxation principles.
  • •Strong analytical, judgment, and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail for complex returns.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and understanding of tax return preparation software; CPA, EA, or MBA is preferred.
