Key Responsibilities

•Lead a multi-team Platform org and translate company priorities into a platform roadmap while owning build-vs-buy and architecture-level trade-offs across infrastructure, data, DevEx, and AI tooling.
•Develop and coach the engineering managers reporting to you with growth plans and direct support; drive AI-native development and ensure performance improvements.
•Drive long-term platform strategy: understand customer (product engineering) needs, measure adoption, ensure SLAs/SLOs, and manage reliability and tech-debt trade-offs.
•Drive technical excellence across the platform by guiding architecture decisions and ensuring systems are reliable and maintainable.
•Partner cross-functionally with Security, Ops, Data, and other functions to co-own the platform roadmap and quality bar.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of managing managers with direct reports who are themselves people managers
•10+ years total in technical roles with a strong IC background
•Owned a platform, infrastructure, data, or developer-productivity area and delivered measurable outcomes
•Built or evolved platform engineering practices across multiple teams and earned adoption
•Experienced in hiring, developing, and managing engineering managers
