Key Responsibilities

  • •With minimal supervision, develop designs and work plans ranging from multi-media environmental sampling equipment specifications to remedial design/construction implementation.
  • •Actively engage in business development and proposal writing.
  • •Ensure regulatory requirement compliance pertaining to data integrity, documentation, procedures, training, monitoring systems, and record compliance and retention.
  • •Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, reports, models, cross-sections, and other illustrations for interpretation or presentation of findings.
  • •Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations that explain research, findings, and recommendations to address, prevent, control, or restore mid- to larger-scale environmental problems.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or BA in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering
  • •7 to 10 years of experience as an environmental professional
  • •Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois (additional state licenses a plus)
  • •Experience coordinating with clients, regulatory permitting, and environmental staff
  • •Experience leading and reviewing environmental and design reports, permitting applications, and field surveys
