Job Summary

Support Senior Application Technologists with day-to-day laboratory and application work to develop innovative beverage prototypes. Prepare flavor-based prototypes across carbonated, juice, sports, energy/functional, coffee, tea, alcoholic, and powdered applications; apply flavors and processing conditions; and measure key physical/chemical parameters. Run physical stability and sensory evaluations, prepare bulk samples for testing, and collaborate with the Applications team on customer presentations and innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare beverage prototypes across multiple applications based on customer project briefs.
•Apply flavors and relevant processing conditions to meet project and customer requirements.
•Measure physical and chemical parameters to ensure prototype consistency and quality using laboratory instruments (e.g., refractometers, acid titrators, carbonation testers).
•Conduct physical stability evaluations under various storage temperatures and conditions and support sensory evaluation sessions.
•Collaborate with the Applications team to develop prototypes for customer presentations, innovation days, and other business initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
•Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
•Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage tasks and meet scheduled timelines and evaluation deadlines.
•Willing to learn and operate beverage processing and packaging equipment (e.g., carbonator, canning machine, high-shear mixer).
•Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, file sharing, and photo/video documentation, along with sensory evaluation and observation skills.
