Job Summary

Perform flightline quality and inspection activities for Airbus A320 avionics, supporting aircraft release for ground and flight operations, executing testing and troubleshooting, and documenting results in the Airbus Log Book. After FOT milestone delegation, prepare and run ground tests, document non-conformities, and initiate RTIs. Also support FAA Part 145 release to service as needed, collaborating with Engineering, customers, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

•Release aircraft for all ground and flight operations, including engine run-up inspections and pre/post flight checks under EASA Part 21G and FAA 14 CFR Part 145.
•Conduct comprehensive aircraft testing, evaluate results, and document tests and discrepancies in the Airbus Log Book (ALB).
•Execute quality inspections for standard and non-standard aircraft production and maintenance activities, including associated documentation.
•Provide technical support and troubleshooting (T/S) for aircraft avionic systems and serve as a liaison to resolve technical issues with Engineering, customers, and suppliers.
•Under delegation, conduct FAL ground checks after the FOT milestone and execute ground tests per PATM; also manage Part 145 Work Package and issue Release to Service (RTS) as assigned.

•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•FAA Airframe & Powerplant license including inspection authorization.
•3 years of Quality Inspection experience preferably on A320 Family aircraft in an aviation company or military aircraft.
•Experience troubleshooting Avionic/Airframe/Powerplant systems and performing GTIs for Avionic/Airframe/Powerplant systems (Basic A/C).
•FAA A&P or EASA Part 66 license for applicable activities (or substantial documented airframe/powerplant maintenance and quality inspection experience).
