Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines business for Financial Institutions accounts while managing a complex risks portfolio.
  • •Grow a profitable book by proactively identifying renewal and new account opportunities.
  • •Maintain and expand broker relationships through broker and customer visits with planned, well-prepared objectives.
  • •Cross-sell Zurich products and services to provide a One-Zurich solution across offerings.
  • •Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level associates and participate in marketing presentations, business projects, and ad-hoc initiatives as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area (with a High School Diploma or Equivalent), OR 6+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area.
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree, with the required underwriting or claims/underwriting support experience.
  • •Knowledge of line(s) of business and corresponding legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • •Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office.
