Key Responsibilities

  • •Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • •Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
  • •Inspect machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions; adjust, repair, or replace defective parts.
  • •Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, and programmable logic controls.
  • •Operate rigging equipment and dollies, fit bearings, align gears and shafts, and align/test equipment to precise tolerances.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing/production or tooling environment.
  • •Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
  • •Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) unassisted.
  • •Ability to work nights & weekends when needed to meet launch milestones.
