Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and implement APIs and microservices, applying microservices architecture patterns and clear service boundaries.
  • •Implement robust API/microservices security including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional partners (architects, product owners, QA, DevOps) to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure integrations work end-to-end.
  • •Monitor API/microservices performance, identify issues, and resolve operational problems to keep services running reliably.
  • •Create and maintain API and microservices documentation and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • •Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and service boundaries/single responsibility principles.
  • •Experience implementing API security (authentication, authorization, data protection) including OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, or Mutual TLS.
  • •Experience with Azure services such as APIM, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, Key Vault, ADLS/Blob Storage, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Functions.
  • •Experience with CI/CD automation and infrastructure provisioning using CI/CD tools and Terraform.
