Job Summary

Manage critical operational data to support the performance of aircraft and ship fleets. Track and analyze equipment trends to identify improvement opportunities and risks, and conduct logistics support analyses across failure modes/criticality, reliability-centered maintenance, life-cycle cost, repair level, and spare parts needs. Provide practical, cost-effective recommendations to fleet managers, and collaborate with technical authorities from Canada’s Ministry of National Defence.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage critical operational data to support fleet performance for aircraft and ships.
•Monitor and analyze equipment trends to identify improvement opportunities and risks.
•Conduct logistics support analyses for equipment and operational systems, including failure modes/criticality, reliability-centered maintenance, life-cycle cost, repair level, and spare parts needs.
•Provide fleet managers with practical, cost-effective recommendations to optimize support availability and reduce costs.
•Collaborate with technical authorities from Canada’s Ministry of National Defence (MDN) and contribute to fleet programs for aircraft and/or ships.

Key Requirements

•University degree in science or engineering, or a technologist/technician diploma with relevant experience in areas such as aeronautics, electrical/electronics, mechanical, or industrial fields.
•Ability to communicate technical topics effectively in French or English (oral and written).
•Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative.
•Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision.
•Eligibility for Canada’s Controlled Goods Program (PMC/CGP) and, if needed, ITAR; and eligibility to obtain/maintain Government of Canada reliability and Level 2 security clearance (Secret).
