Job Summary

Maintain and repair a fleet of UAV simulators at Al Majma’ah Airbase, working with a small team of technicians. Diagnose complex issues in flight simulation systems, coordinate updates and bug fixes at subsystem level, and perform functional testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance. Support integration of data, software, and hardware, run qualification test procedures, and manage refurbishment, logistics, and maintenance records to keep simulators mission-ready.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and solve problems in complex flight simulation systems, including detailed fault analysis and repair of faulty components.
•Check and validate updates and bug fixes at subsystem level with the test engineer/pilot.
•Support integration of data, updates, software, and hardware, including exchange of assemblies.
•Perform functional testing, calibration, qualification test procedures, and pre-flight/post flight checks on all simulators.
•Run preventive maintenance tasks and support refurbishment, hardware modifications, logistics/parts handling, and maintenance recordkeeping.

Key Requirements

•Relevant technical qualifications and some experience as a technician in an electronic, avionic, or technical field.
•Strong experience in electrical engineering and hardware engineering.
•Experience working with software (without needing to write code).
•Computer literate with PC and/or computer mainframe/architecture experience.
•Some experience in soldering and circuit board repairs (preferred) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
