Job Summary

Support the SPY-6 Radar Program by troubleshooting and resolving radar hardware issues on ship platforms at Bath Iron Works. Work onsite with engineering teams to install, maintain, repair, modify, and replace components, and assist with integration and test activities by tracking subsystem statuses and configurations. Interface with hardware design teams on approved engineering change proposals, adjudicate hardware trouble reports, and maintain calibration of tooling and required materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, maintain, repair, modify, and replace radar hardware components for the SPY-6 Radar Program.
•Troubleshoot radar hardware during integration with other systems, including power, cooling, arrays, and other radar subsystems.
•Support integration and test activities by setting up, coordinating, and tracking subsystem statuses and configurations.
•Interface with hardware design teams on troubleshooting and retrofit procedures for approved engineering change proposals (ECPs).
•Adjudicate hardware issues through the Hardware Trouble Report (HTR) database and maintain calibration of tooling while tracking required materials and equipment.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in STEM and typically 2 years of prior relevant experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required prior to start date.
•U.S. citizenship required to be eligible for a security clearance.
•Experience with RF systems, power systems, troubleshooting, and reading/utilizing hardware schematics.
•Experience maintaining equipment and providing engineering assessment and corrective actions, including installation and testing of engineering modifications/updates.
