Key Responsibilities

  • •Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for sales-focused entities, including review and sign-off of the Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and P&L.
  • •Provide senior review of revenue recognition and sales cut-off, including returns, rebates, discounts, customer incentives, trade investment, and related accruals/provisions.
  • •Review accounts receivable, customer claims/deductions, expected credit loss provisions, unapplied cash, and aged balances, ensuring resolution plans for open items.
  • •Act as senior entity finance contact for Group Reporting, Demand and Commercial Finance, Market Controllers, Tax, Statutory Reporting, and internal/external auditors.
  • •Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement across entity reporting, revenue-related controls, reconciliations, and commercial accounting processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive financial accounting, entity controllership, group reporting, and Trial Balance review with end-to-end Balance Sheet and P&L ownership in a complex environment.
  • •Strong revenue and commercial accounting knowledge, including IFRS 15, sales cut-off, trade investment, customer incentives, receivables, and expected credit losses.
  • •Proven close governance, external audit experience, financial controls, and the ability to make and resolve complex accounting judgements.
  • •Strong analytical review and the ability to collaborate, challenge, and influence across shared services, commercial finance, and market teams.
  • •Professional certification (CA/CFA/CMA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 11–14 years relevant experience; otherwise 15–18 years with an undergraduate or master’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting or related field.
