Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape and drive alignment on Risk Operations’ technical strategy to achieve business goals
  • •Partner cross-functionally across Risk (engineering, product, operations) to set and execute the technical roadmap
  • •Coach a team of engineering program managers to lead technical programs with strong culture, vision, goals, and hiring support
  • •Occasionally personally lead a small number of the most critical technical programs requiring direct senior influence
  • •Evolve team structure, strategy, functions, and roles to continuously meet Stripe’s evolving business needs

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience managing program managers who lead complex, cross-functional technical programs
  • •Experience partnering with product and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle and/or go-to-market
  • •Sufficient technical proficiency to clarify architecture, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks to guide technical direction
  • •Excellent analytical skills to digest complex information and make recommendations
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders
